The Muslim Kitchen have teamed up with Give A Gift, The Barakah Team and local food suppliers to distribute emergency food parcels to vulnerable families during the current crisis. To date nearly 100 food parcels have been distributed with the overall number expected to exceed 500 food parcels over the next few weeks.
As well as ensuring the packs contain culturally appropriate food items for those from particular backgrounds, we are also working to get food to families living on the margins of poverty – regardless of their background.
